Sniper Elite V2 Trailer
The
awesomeness of the game can be seen from the trailer. The graphic, from the
aiming of the commander, and the release of the bullet, until when the bullet
pierce through of the commander’s neck, is pure awesome, giving you another
real life experience of gaming. And also, we can assume that, killing the
commander first is more mental-breaking than killing the rest of the army first
before killing the commander, am I right? The decision also affect the difficulty of killing the enemy. You can
take down the enemy one by one if you use stealth. Or by using open
confrontation, you will attract much more enemies which can give you a hard
time defeating them at once.

Cubefield 2 Review
Cubefield 2 is a perfect game for you who search for a simple yet highly addictive game. It is simply because the gameplay of this game is definitely able to make you addicted, despite of the simple gameplay. For your information, Cubefield 2 is the latest game by Max Abernethy of flecko.net that known for their addictive flash game. Many people that has tried this game found out that this game are extremely addictive as they cannot stop playing the game for long time, though the main gameplay of this game is only to dodge the obstacles.
About the gameplay, you will play as a grey arrow in this Cubefield 2. You can use the left and right arrow keys in order to control the grey arrow. At the beginning, you probably found it very easy to control the green arrow but as the time passes, your arrow will be travelling at high speed which makes it harder to control. Not to mention that you have to avoid cubes from a gigantic plane in order to complete the game. After each time, the speed will begin to keep up the pace and there will be more cubes, which makes this Cubefield 2 even more challenging than ever. If you are able to last longer to avoid any of those cubes for long time, then your score will be higher than other who crash on the cube.
Cubefield 2

The most interesting thing on this Cubefield 2 is the action will not stop until you die, except if you pause it. There is no level at all so you won't have time to take a break as there are more cube to avoid in higher speed. Even so, there is some time when the game change color and scheme, which is a sign that you have reach higher level with higher speed and higher number of cube, though there is no implicit sign of level.
Another thing that interesting in Cubefield 2 is probably the graphic, as it is already coming in 3D design. Not only the cube, but the 3D design of game plane certainly is great. Though you probably won't have enough time to be amaze by the 3D design of the plane as well as other object.
And the last thing that possibly makes this Cubefield 2 really addictive is the simple control. Not only the main game control that requires only left and right arrow key, but also the whole game control that requires you to not use mouse click at all. For example, you just need to press spacebar in order to play new game at the starting page. Although it is a small different, but it could make people love to play this game for long.
The only downside of this game probably that there is no music or sound effect at all. But Max said that it is more comfortable as more fun to listen to your own choice of MP3 as you play this Cubefield 2 game.

Mario Party 9 Review
Mario Party 9 is one of the latest Mario game. This game is coming with various mini games as well as board games that combined into a single great game. The most fun way to play this Mario game is by using its multiplayer, as playing alone is not that fun. Seeing this game for the first time probably makes some of you remember about the similar game on the Nintendo 64, though this version of game is far improved compared to the Nintendo 64 game, especially on the gameplay as well as multiplayer gaming experience.
Although this Mario Party 9 still included the single player mode with a storyline that involving Bowser who trying to get the mini stars, playing alone is not as fun as playing together. This game is just that kind of game. After all, the name ‘Party’ really describes that you should play it on party, which more than one player included. After you got the players needed, just say… four peoples, then you are ready to get the best out of this game. All of the players will then jump on a single cart, which each player will take turns to become the captain. Captain’s role is to roll a dice and see what kind of rewards or benefits of the dice the captain has rolled.
Mario Party 9

Many of mini game will be involved, but all the games are having a single purpose, which is collecting mini stars. Most of the mini games on Mario Party 9 are also involving rolling a dice, though none of the game is requires any difficult motion control. All the players need to do us just using the Wii Remote as pointing devices, or use it as the old school controller. Most gamers would find that the lack of motion controls of Wii Remote is a good thing while some other might think that playing Nintendo Wii without motion controls using Wiimote is definitely unlike playing Nintendo Wii at all.
Each of the mini game of this Mario Party 9 is divided into three segments, which each segments will have a winner and loser. This is surely a fun way to compete with your friends as you can try better in the next segment or next game in order to get better scores and be a winner. Seeing the gameplay, which is using dice as the main controls, this entire game surely depends on luck. Even so, that kind of gameplay seems to be a great way to play when you are together.
In the end, Mario Party 9 really is bring the people together to play and have fun, without any people thought that they are lose because someone cheating as it is based on luck. If we see on any other game such as tennis, soccer, or fighting, the most skillfull players will get an easy win over others. But in a game that based on luck like this one, skill become number two as luck is all you need most. This Mario Party 9 concept issurely match with Nintendo Wii original concept, which is trying to get people, not only 2 people, to play and have fun together.

Ninja Gaiden 3 : No Longer Brutal and Bloody
Ninja Gaiden 3 is the latest game that developed by Team Ninja and published by Tecmo Koei. This game is actually the sequel of Ninja Gaiden II that quite popular some time ago. Not published yet, this action adventure game is expected to be launched on March 20 in North America and March 23 in the rest of Europe for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platform. As for Nintendo Wii U, this game will also released in 2012, though there is no further info about the Wii U release yet.
If you already a Ninja Gaiden series fans, then you will probably know by the first time you play this game as Ninja Gaiden 3 will continue the story of the Ninja Gaiden II. Moreover, one of the main stories will deal with the Sword of Archfiend that can be found on Ninja Gaiden II. The game’s main characters will again feature Ryu Hayabusa, though the outfit will be slightly different. If on the previous game Ryu wore black leather outfit, in this third series, Ryu will be seen with new metallic black suit as seen on the some released screenshots. Another difference on Ryu appearance is his toes, which are now covered with metal that will be useful for a new move called Kunai Climb.
Ninja Gaiden 3

Story wise, the trailers of Ninja Gaiden 3 starts when Ryu got a request from Japanese Self-Defense Force to go to London and fight terrorist. Furthermore, Ryu will also fight the Regent of the Mask that kills the Prime Minister. Next on, Dragon Sword will be absorbed into Ryu’s right arm and a new opponent appears with hood and gives the world 7 days to be destroyed, except if the world surrenders to him. Ryu’s adventure then will begin to eliminate all terrorists as well as uncover the mysterious hooded man that has threatened the world. This story is written by Masato Kato, who also wrote for all Ninja Gaiden series on NES. That is why there are some rumors that mentioned that some Ninja Gaiden characters from NES will also appear on this Ninja Gaiden 3, such as Hayate from Dead or Alive series.
About the features, Ninja Gaiden 3 will bring some new features and improvements, including Steel on Bone feature that allow the players to cut through enemy’s body while a slow motion cinematic trick, new Kunai Climb move that allow Ryu climb onto walls and strike enemies from above using his kunai. Stealth also the new feature as some missions requires Ryu to kill enemy with only a single hit after sneak U. Talking about enemies, they are now able to speak while fighting with Ryu, such as ‘Send BU!’ or ‘Get around him!’ which surely add a lot of tense of the game. More about enemies, they are now not die easily as most of them will suffer and sometimes scream in pain when they are injured. Also, unlike the previous game, dying enemies in this game will not decapitated or dismembered, but only bleed and weakening time by time. Most of game critics mention that Ryu are become softer to enemies as there is less blood and decapitated body in Ninja Gaiden 3.

Duke Nukem Forever: The Doctor Who Cloned Me
The very first campaign download content Duke Nukem Forever, The Doctor Who Cloned Me was released about amonth ago, exactly on the 14th of December 2011. The Doctor Who Cloned Me showed up about half a year after the release of Duke Nukem Forever. I know it is a little bit late, but never mind. It had been awaited by the fans since the days of PSX. It took 14 years for Duke Nukem to revive in next-gen consoles. Well, the 14 years Nukem took are wasted in vain. The original game is simply apeshit with outdated jokes. Heavy disappointment, guys. Will the doctor who cloned Duke Nukem cure the game’s flaws and replace it with better experience that reflects the true Duke Nukem Forever? Let’s see what I have to say about it.
Duke Nukem Forever

The Doctor Who Cloned Me takes place after the original Duke Nukem Forever ending. The game’s ending is not complete and it is sort of hanging. Without filling the gap, the story continues with Duke Nukem as the main bad ass of the game. This download content relive Nukem’s classic sworn enemy, Dr.Proton.
Duke Nukem wakes up in a lab, tied to a chair with another Duke Nukem in front of him trying to put the real Nukem out of misery. But of course, that is a worthless effort since the real Nukem is immortal. Duke Nukem finds out that he was kidnapped by Dr.Proton. He is being used by Dr.Proton as a clone “father” for his clone army and Proton is finished with Nukem since he is now already able to create the cyborg clones called Dukeinators. The game revolves in the underground facility in Area 51 and also the moon. Duke Nukem fights Dukeinators to find Dr.Proton for the sake of ripping-his-head-off and goes to the moon to bust aliens.
Actually, it is better than the vanilla Duke Nukem Forever. We have more actions, new fun features, and much better one-liners. The action in this DLC is seriously top-notch. The features include new ways of increasing Ego meter like interacting with the Dukeinator, arm-wrestling, playing 8-bit games, and more. The fresh new feature that is available in The Doctor Who Cloned Me first-person platforming puzzle. Well, it is not that good though because the puzzles are retarded and breaking the fun to frustation. About the jokes, it is not about outdated events before 2009 or other ridiculous things, but it is about Duke Nukem’s own thinking of the environment he is in. The one-liners do the job well. The Doctor Who Cloned Me offers brand new 4 multiplayer maps based on the singleplayer campaign. There is also a new weapon called the Enlarger.
The main disappointment of this game is the first-person platforming puzzles that are overly crazing me. The puzzles seem weird and unethical. For what it is worth, if you love Duke Nukem blasting bloody mess, buy it. However, if you are not a fan of Duke Nukem Forever and loathe it, don’t. However, it is indeed an improvement. It is not so bad betting your ten bucks for it though.

My Review: The Binding of Isaac
Okay guys, this is the first time I make a review of a game and now I’m going to review the Binding of Isaac. This is of course the first “My Review” section in Just for Gamer, but I am looking forward to making more reviews. I know that this is maybe a late review since The Binding of Isaac was released in September 2011 and I am not an expert reviewer. Nevertheless, let’s start.
The Binding of Isaac is an independent game designed by Florian Himsl and Edmund McMillen. It was released on Steam. The Binding of Isaac was also included in the Humble Indie Bundle. The game’s genre is action-role-playing game. The story is similar to a story in Bible that has the same name. The Binding of Isaac is sold for $4.99 on Steam and I picked it up a few days ago during the Steam holiday sale for as cheap as $1.24.
There was once a peaceful and happy family consisting of two, Mom and the son named Isaac. Everyday, Isaac played with his toys and drew pictures while his Mom watched Christian broadcasts. They were happy as-is. But one day, Mom heard God’s voice telling that Isaac is sinful and has to be purified and taken away from the sinister things in the world. Mom locked Isaac in an empty room without connection to the outer world to “purify him”. Another day, Mom heard the voice of God again saying that to prove her faith and love to Him she has to sacrifice Isaac. The poor little Isaac saw and heard that through a crack on the wooden door of his panic room. Isaac tried to escape from the room while his Mom is approaching the room holding a knife to slice and dice her son. Isaac found a trap door leading to the basement under the rag in the room. The poor boy decided to enter the trap door and explore the unknown depths of the basement.

The Binding of Isaac gameplay is similar to the classic Legend of Zelda in Nintendo Entertainment System. It is a 2-dimension action RPG. You can play as Isaac, the crying naked boy, or other 5 unlockable characters such as Cain, Eve, Judas, et cetera. Each character has their own unique traits. This game uses the system permadeath, meaning there is no checkpoints. You let Isaac die, you have to restart from the beginning of the game. The Binding of Isaac also involves random monsters and trap-filled dungeons. You can attack the monsters using Isaac’s teardrop projectiles. As you progress in the game, you will find upgrades and items that changes your character’s appearance and skills. There are upgrades that increase your speed, strengthen your projectiles, fasten the rate of fire, and even that gives you wings to fly. The currency in this game is called “pennies” that can be used to buy heart containers, faith, or to open certain doors. There are also keys that are used to open locked doors and bombs that you can use to blow rocks. You can also find treasure chests and random mini-bosses. To advance to the next level of dungeon, you have to fight a boss first. The boss is random, you can even fight a strong boss in the first level.
The Binding of Isaac has received high scores. In average of 83. Its soundtracks that were composed by Danny Baranowsky also got the Best Game Music of 2011 award by Kotaku. The music is kind of dark, has the “churchy” feeling, and it suits the game best.
My review of the game, it is an interesting, small-sized, and cheap independent game. The soundtracks is well fit, the game is fun and obviously not boring. I love the tarot cards and upgrade system. Also, the arcade rooms, shops, and satan’s room. Even though I have only played this game for about 8 hours, I can say that this game is awesome. The music when fighting bosses is very thrilling. This game’s replay value is high because every playthrough, the dungeons will have different shapes, monsters, bosses, and items in it. The downside is the game sometimes has framerate drops when there are a lot of monsters around. I don’t know if it is the game or my laptop, but my laptop is strong enough to play Skyrim in the high graphic settings without framerate drops. And it is also hard to newbies like me, I even haven’t reached the last boss yet since I always die early and I have to restart from the beginning of the game.
Overall, I think The Binding of Isaac deserves the score 9 out of 10. It is one of the best indie games I have ever played. And for $4.99, it is worth every penny you spent on it. I hereby The Binding of Isaac as a recommended game! Well then, see you in the next My Review sessions!
