Too Many Items mod is developed by Marglyph and released publicly about a year ago in the minecraftforum. This mod is categorized as inventory edit mod that means the mod allows player to edit their inventory infinitely. Using the Too Many Items mod renders possible item-creating, editing items, erasing items, saving your inventory before playing around, and even weather can be changed. Night and day can be shifted freely using the mod. Hence, the name, there are too many items that you can mess with that you can’t get enough of it. Very much every items in the game can be picked and stored in your inventory and placed somewhere else to create your own wicked world. Too Many Items is not only usable in singleplayer, as an admin of a Bukkit server, you can use the mod to spawn items.
To make sure you can maximize the use of Too Many Items mod, I have personally created a manual regarding the functions and how to use the Too Many Items mod. Look nowhere but below:
Too Many Items Mod for Minecraft 1.1
Opening the Too Many Items menu
In any point of the game inside the inventory screen, press ‘O’ to open the menu. It is available in singleplayer and not in multiplayer by default. You can also change the key used to open the menu by editing the config file.
Getting Items to Your Inventory
On the menu, left-click the item on the left that you want to add stacks (full), right-clicking adds single stack.
This can only be used in singleplayer mode. Drag and drop the item you want to delete on the trash can icon. If you want it to be more practical, click the trash can icon to toggle delete mode off and on. Turning it on will delete any item you click. To empty your inventory, left-click while pressing the shift button.
Unlimited Item Stacks
Left-clicking when pressing the shift button will add the item in infinite stacks. To get unlimited item stacks, the ModLoader is required. It is as easy as one-two-three!
Saving the Game
The Too Many Items mod also enables players to save the game to prevent items lost. Saving will record your inventory and your current status. Keep in mind that the save slots are limited.
To quicken the process of crafting, right-click the output square while you are crafting an item. It will automatically craft as many as possible.
When placing item into your inventory from a chest or vice-versa, hold shift to transfer items with the same type. Note that this is only available in singleplayer mode, not intended for multiplayer.
