1. No More Blocky Faces
by Xenius

No More Blocky Faces

You probably all noticed the blocky noses and chins of the human and elven characters in Skyrim. This was caused by compressed textures with the _msn affix. I have smoothed the noses and chins and saved them as uncompressed textures.

Updated version also removes blocky eyelids, ears and lips. Brow ridges and wrinkels have not been removed, only the blocky ones have been smoothed, because I did not want to alter the intended design. This mod affects the following races, male and female including old characters:
  • Imperial
  • Nord
  • Breton
  • Redguard
  • Dark Elf
  • High Elf
  • Wood Elf
  • Orc

2. Detailed Faces
by Xenius

Detailed Faces v2

This little mod increases the face detail of the human and elven races, male and female. I made this for personal use, thought some of you might like it as well so decided to upload it here.

On the comparison pictures you see the old skin on the left, the new skin on the right. On some of them it's a bit hard to notice due to the low light.

This mod affects the following races, male and female including old characters:
  • Imperial
  • Nord
  • Breton
  • Redguard
  • Dark Elf
  • High Elf
  • Wood Elf
  • Orc

Updated to v2.0
Detail of the skin textures has been increased by using a seamless human skin texture resource. I filled an 4096x4096 image with this resource, then decreased the size to 2048x2048 and applied it to the original face textures.

More detail has been added to the lips, specular maps have been made less glossy but more detailed.

3. Enhanced Night Skyrim
by CptJoker

Enhanced Night Skyrim

This is a new edition of my Enhanced Night Sky mod, modified for the icy lands of Skyrim. It's a high resolution texture replacement for the night sky taken from real starfield photography. This will not affect the appearance of constellations (yes, the game has constellations finally!) which are contained in another file - this will simply enhance the backdrop for a much denser starfield.

Enjoy!

4. Enhanced Blood Textures
by dDefinder

Improved blood texture detail and increased resolution from 512 to 2048. New screen blood textures to have more of a splatter appearance rather than a dot. Plugin will adjust screen blood's size, opacity, duration, and amount. Will also Increase blood duration on weapons
