LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes

Like the previous game, LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes spins an original yarn, but this time the story is more engaging and really interesting. Lex Luthor Superman's arch enemy is running for president, woring together with the Joker and they are using kryptonite to stuff the ballot box. With this evil intentions break out, Batman, Robin, Superman and eventually the entire DC characters or the justice league step in to stop the evil plot.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes has a focused story that's really enjoyable and entertaining from start to finish, and the voice acting plays a huge part in making this game more entertaining. It is for the first time in LEGO game history, LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes packs a full voice tallents to tell its story. Altough the silent LEGO games have always been hillarious, LEGO Batman 2 is able to move beyond shrugs and grins. Lex trying to convince Joker that killing Batman is a really good idea, Robin fanboying out over Superman, Vicki Vale's newscasts. These moments are brilliant moments that we would've lost without the great voice actors. Included in these actors is Superman: The Animated Series' Clancy Brown reprising his role as Lex Luthor. New voices are used for most of the other characters, but the new takes are welcome.

This game plays out trough traditional LEGO game controls. You can jump, punch and you can also switch between characters with button presses. Your friend can drop in and play out for co-op in a jiff. LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes is really simple to understand as ever, but adds new suits for Batman and Robin and along with powers for certain characters. Cyborg is magnetized, Black Canary has her sonic blast,  and Wonder Woman can lasso her way into the game defeating the enemies or clinging into objects.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is a collector's paradise. You will have to play through the game to get studs so you are able to unlock characters and go back to old stages  and use it to access different areas in order to collect more secrets. The story is finished in about nine hours of gameplay, but players will spend hours chasing down bricks and characters. The open world gameplay could use some tweaks in it, but the little glinch don't stop LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes from being a great game.
