So, what is the Safety Rating actually? Well, the Safety Rating is a safety measurement in all session of iRacing, including qualification, warm up race, time trial, and also official and unofficial race as well. This SR (Safety Rating) will count the number of incident that you have done while doing those sessions mentioned above. In short, SR is what makes iRacing looks and feels like a real driving as you iRacing treasure the safety of its iRacer. Safety Rating is also one of the aspects that will be overlooked for your license level in iRacing. If you have good SR, then your license level will be increased easily. And on the other way, if your SR is deep low, meaning you have too many incidents in sessions, you could even lose your license.

SR in iRacing is also different in each circuit or class. For example, if you have 2 SR level, one for Oval and one for Road, then you have a lot of incident while racing on Oval; your SR level in Road will be not influenced. So you can get iRacing Pro license in Road, but still get iRacing Rookie license in Oval. To count the incidents of sessions, there are four levels of incidents, which are:

Safety Rating for each session is counted from the average of incidents for corners, which called CPI, or Corners Per Incident. This CPI will be then converted into numbers for easier classification, which ranging from 1.00 to 4.99. If you reach above than 4.00 SR, then you will be promoted to the next level, but only after you have completed the iRacing requirement of minimum participations, which is 4 iRacing races or iRacing trials in your license level. This is called FastTrack.

Although this Safety Racing makes most of gamers move from iRacing to other racing simulation due to it’s too much difficulties, many others are staying due to the Safety Racing as it offers better real life experience. Actually, iRacing uses the Safety Rating in order to measures the safety of every drivers, which is actually big advantages for iRacer that want to learn and experience how to race safely in iRacing.

CLUE: Notice that getting rid the brown plank boxes in the middle could create a whole that you cannot get out by yourself. Also, pay attention to the other two brown plank boxes on the right of the screen.

ANSWER: Notice the only hanging three brown plank boxes on the second row from the bottom. Move the right two spaces to the right. Then, move the topmost gray chest one square down. And you have solved this Level 24 and cleared BOSTON area, Congratulations!

OSAKA AREA: Level 24
There are 5 box types in this last level of OSAKA, including Green chest, Gray chest, Red plank, Brown plank, and Brown package. You are allowed to use 3 turns only to solve this puzzle.

CLUE: never move the green chest at the very top side of the right to make it in columns. But instead make the green chest in rows

ANSWER: First, move the topmost brown plank box one space down so it switch place with green chest. Next, take that green chest and move it to right for one space so it switch place with the gray chest on the bottom right. And last, move the brown plank box at the beginning one space down and once more time, congratulations on finishing OSAKA area.

HAMBURG AREA: Level 24
Although there are only 4 types of box, including Green chest, gray chest, brown plank, and brow package, and you are given 4 turns, never think that this last level on HAMBURG area is easy to solve as this level of Move the Box game is very tricky.

CLUE: as it is very tricky, just go straight to the answer

ANSWER: From the middle column, move the topmost brown package box one space to the left. Do it twice. Then, move the topmost brown plank box that placed in the middle of the column one space down. And last, move the same brown plank box one space to the left.

As for the last level of the game, which is level 24 of North Pole, it is better for you to solve that level by your own logic as that last level really will be satisfying as you are finally able to solve the whole game of Move the Box.

A couple days ago, there has been a new mandatory Xbox system update that released for all Xbox LIVE users. The update offers no new features, but fix some color issues and other problem instead. Xbox mentioned that this February 16th Xbox system update will increase the overall performance of Xbox and give better Xbox LIVE experience. The main feature is to fix the color issues when some of the gamers experienced an extra grey layer when watching videos, although not that disturbing. Besides color issues, this Xbox system update is also applied to fix any apps bugs in Xbox LIVE, which further fix of various apps bugs will be coming in the next upcoming months.

Unfortunately, although this update only fixes a few things, there seems to be more problems occur as an impact of this Xbox system update. Many gamers are reporting various problems after they install the update on their Xbox. Those reports are being discussed on Xbox official support forum and other gamer forum as well. Up until now, a couple of problem has solved, but most gamers are not that lucky as their Xbox seems won’t be running well after installing the February update. Beside those various systems update problems; there are basically three main problems that occur after gamers install this latest system update for Xbox. Read the problem’s details below.

The first problem is there are green flickering lines in transitions from Menu in the game. These green mostly occur when the screen went black while changing menu. Although the game mostly still able to load normally, but the green flickering lines will still appear even when you playing some games, which is really disturbing.  Unfortunately, there is no response yet from Xbox support regarding this problem. However, some gamers have tried to reinstall the system update and their Xbox seems to be just fine.

Next most common problem after installing February Xbox system update is the Xbox seems to be bricked and get nowhere after the splash screen. Sometimes, it even froze at the logo screen. Most of the time, the cause of this problem is the update is not compatible with the hardware, so they cause the system to be bricked. When your Xbox is bricked, there will be no response after the splash page or logo page as if it’s frozen for good. Xbox support has response to this matter and promises a new fix to solve this problem is coming soon. For the mean time, you can try to unplug the Kinect from the Xbox console, unplug your console as well, and plug all those back after a few minutes. If this method doesn’t work, then your only option is to wait for the fix to be released.

And the third most common problem after installing the Xbox system that launched recently is the Xbox will not be able to read any games or DVD’s anymore. Again, Xbox support only gives a simple advice to remove the Xbox 360 dashboard update, and then try to re-download it while connect directly to the internet. To remove the update, go to Settings > System > Storage > and press the button sequence by the following order: left, right, X, left, right, and X. A couple days ago, many websites are spreading the rumor that a new variant game of LittleBigPlanet called LittleBigPlanet Karting is being developed by Sony. And today, that rumors has finally confirmed by Sony, which mention that the very game is being developed. Through PlayStation’s official twitter account, Sony also giving advice to most LittleBigPlanet fans to be patient and wait for the next official news from Sony. Unfortuantely, besides the confirmation, there are no more words from Sony about the developer of this LittleBigPlanet Karting. Another rumor that mentions that this game will support PlayStation Move accessories, such as wheel controller are also not confirmed yet. It is a pity because there are many rumors that mentioning the release date of this LittleBigPlanet Karting will be the same date as the new wheel accessory fro PlayStation Move released to public.

Sony also didn’t confirm the rumor that mentions that the LittleBigPlanet Karting will be released for PlayStation 3 console with 3D support. The only fact about these rumors are now that the LittleBigPlanet Karting is indeed being developed, while another fact mention that the next Little Big Planet game (not racing game surely) is ready to released for PlayStation Vita, although the release date is still unknown. With only confirming just a little bit about the rumors spread of this game, Sony keeps the gamers’ attention to their game, as well as their console. This is to make those gamers keep anxious in order to make the game will be more popular when it is finally release. Minecraft is finally coming to mobile gaming world with Minecraft Pocket Edition name. This mobile version is still developed by Mojang AB (Aron Nieminen). Although this game is already available on Android since August last year, it needs more than 6 month to make this addictive game available for iOS powered device. At that time, Minecraft on mobile is only developed and launched exclusively for Sony Xperia PLAY that cost $6.99 with free demo version also available at that time in Android market. Psychonauts is the latest game released by Double Fine developer, which finally released to Mac and Apple store so every iPhone user can download it right away. This camp is a summer camp that train kids with special ability, which psychic in this Psychonauts game. Every kids with psychic ability trained in this camp become the Psychonauts. Raz is not alone to become the Psychonauts as other campers also involved to become one of psychic secret agents. But that not last long as Raz finally discover the original sinister plot beneath the camp, which bring him, or you as the player, to get into a real mess of mind confusing mystery.

Although this Psychonauts is all about action, but you will find a lot others in this Psychonauts game, including mystery, highly develop characters, and twisting story, which is very challenging for most gamers. The graphic is also gorgeous, not to mention that each character have their own past as well as personal demons that surely useful in your adventure. You will not find any similar game as Psychonauts that able to bend your mind in a complicated but challenging story. There will be nothing to wondering about if you play this game nonstop due because of addicted.

Infinity Blade II is definitely the most beautiful game iOS to date. This fighting game, however, can be a bit repetitive and you can’t play anymore. This game was developed by Chair Entertainment Group and its price is about € 5.49 in Europe for 940 MB. Chair Entertainment, the publisher of the game, however, intends to add a small dose of multiplayer. In a future update that is not expected until a few months will benefit from Infinity Blade II "Clash Mobs." This feature allows some players to join forces against a common enemy. Everything will be done through Internet and through icloud and players involved in the fighting to gain more specific rewards.

The concept of Infinity Blade II was for failure to categorically divide the players. The first teaser trailer release of Resident Evil Retribution carries a little bit awkward feeling with just a few days ago, after months of only word news and pictures, Sony Screen Gems has finally decided to give us a revelation to enlighten the details of the film. Even a bit. Resident Evil Retribution, that is going to be released in September, feature both normal version and 3D version. It is stated that it will give us the best fan service ever compared to other series of the film and that means more characters from the game will appear, including the main characters of the game, Leon S. Kennedy and Ada Wong.

The trailer starts by a random guy holding a Sony cellphone and said, “I am [insert name here], and this is my world.” And the video goes around this kind of thing again just with different people in different countries promoting different Sony gadget products, including the lately-popular PS Vita. After a set of weird promotion forcefully stacked into the teaser trailer for more than twenty seconds, the Earth revolves and Alice is shown in the screen. And she goes telling the crappy thing again with her stepped-up cooled voice, ‘’My name is Alice, and this is my world.” And here comes the good part. Just what to expect from the film, there are bunches of actions including firefight with Umbrella, flying Bio-Organic Weapons, and ordinary action ‘this and those’. I was just surprised with the what-the-hell-is-this-Resident-Evil-Retribution-trailer Sony promotion in the first seconds. Let’s get straight to the film description.

Milla Jovovich is back as Alice, the failed Bio-Organic Weapon that successfully backfired on Umbrella and have stayed to be its most dangerous nemesis for years. Alice and friends are captured by Umbrella again. When Alice wakes up deep in a research facility, she gets curious. She starts walking around the facility on her own and as she explored deeper into the facility, she found tons of mind-crushing hidden truths that force her to filter all her past again in order to fix what she thought to be true and what she thought to be wrong. Wentworth Miller that starred Chris Redfield also Ali Larter that played Claire Redfield will not show up in Resident Evil Retribution due to Umbrella holding them captive.

There are lots of characters from the Resident Evil franchise. The phenomenal Leon S. Kennedy played by Johann Urb is one of them. Resident Evil Retribution will enhance the bond between the game and the film, giving explanations about things that happen in the film and tying it with events in the game. Jill Valentine does not play the role of the hero here, instead, she is the main villain. Possibly controlled by Umbrella like in Resident Evil 5. Barry Burton, Carlos Oliviera, Rain Ocampo, Albert Wesker, and James “One” Shade is back to rock the film. What a nostalgic reunion!

So, while Resident Evil Retribution is going to be released in September, Resident Evil 6 will follow two months later. There is a slight possibility that Resident Evil Retribution will connect to Resident Evil 6. Let’s hope for the best then!

It is developed by Toys for Bobs also XPEC Entertainment for the Windows, Mac, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360 version while Vicarious Visions handles the Nintendo 3DS version and Frima Studio takes care of the IPhone, IPad, and the web game. Activion is the publisher of the game.

The three toy figures are used as your characters inside the game. Connect the “Portal of Power” to your console and put your favorite figure on top of it and the character in the game will unlock. There is around 37 characters for now even though the starter pack only carries three with it. You can buy the rest for eight bucks each or wait for exclusive adventure packs that include a Skylander toy figure for each bundle.

The Skylander toy figures in the game are also used as mobile saved games, meaning, when you put your figure on another “Portal of Power” even on a different console version, your stats, upgrades, skills, achievements will carry over. Putting two Skylanders toy figures on the “Portal of Power” will enable the local co-op mode or versus mode. There is no online multiplayer mode though. Other than characters, there are power-ups or key toy figures to be used. It breaks the boundary of toy and video games.

Starter pack items for the console version and 3DS version is different. Even some item figures’ effect are different when used on the 3DS version since the genre for the 3DS version is 3D platformer and it has a different gameplay system. While the starter pack of consoles includes Spyro, Gill Grunt, and Trigger Happy, the 3DS starter pack includes Dark Spyro, Stealth Elf, and Ignitor.

The Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure Pack – Darklight Crypt contains an exclusive character and other items. When used in the web version, items become collection and adds 200 gold-reward trophy to your account except for Skylanders. Below is the complete list of the toy figures and effects:

Ghost Roaster
All versions: Putting this Skylander figure on the “Portal of Power” will unlock the Ghost Roaster. This Undead Skylander is quite overpowered. Its favorite quote is “No Chain, No Gain!”.

Darklight Crypt
Console version: This toy figure unlocks the Darklight Crypt chapter when placed on top of the “Portal of Power” in the Ruins. When used in any other chapter, the Darklight Crypt will release horde of ghosts to terrorize the enemies, inflicting 999 damage to all enemies once per chapter.

3DS version: It unlocks the Darklight Crypt via the Sanctuary.

Healing Elixir
Console version: Heals 15 HP per second for half a minute for all Skylanders on the portal. Once per chapter only.

3DS version: Regenerates the health points of your Skylander, Use 10 radiance plus this magic by pressing R.

Time Twist Hourglass
Console version: A once-per-chapter item that slows down pretty much everything in the game except the Skylanders.

3DS version: Spend 10 radiances to activate it and paralyze nearby enemies.

The Skylanders Spyro's Adventure Pack - Darklight Crypt add on is a good bargain now. Because of the popularity, it is a shame that the twenty bucks sales stocks in Amazon are currently sold out. Anyhow, you can still buy it in several stores for less than thirty bucks.

Even though the third installment of Saints Row series, Saints Row: The Third was just released about 2 months ago, Saints Row 4 is already in the first phase of development. Saints Row: The Third, also known as Saints Row 3, was released on the 15th of November 2011 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in the US. Saints Row series is now the main rival of Rockstar’s renowned Grand Theft Auto series since they have similar gameplay elements and genre.

Saints Row is an action free-world adventure sandbox game developed by Volition and published by THQ. It is now THQ’s primary project because Saints Row series have attracted a lot of fanatics and maniacs thus making this game a new cult in recent gaming industry. The first and second Saints Row games until now has sold over 6 million copies and declared as the best-selling video game franchise. The original Saints Row is well-known because it was the first sandbox game in Xbox 360 before Grand Theft Auto 4 showed up.

The first and second game tells about a gang called the Third Street Saints in a fictional city called Stilwater somewhere in Michigan. We play the role of Third Street Saints leader. In the game, the main character struggle and fight to control the city of Stilwater and to prevent other evil entities taking the city from Third Street Saints. In Saints Row: The Third, players still take control of the leader of Third Street Saints, but now Third Street Saints has become a big criminal organization. The story takes place in a city called Steelport. Third Street Saints is not fighting some “small fish” gangs anymore nor old corrupted police gays, they are now in a clash with a world-class criminal organization dubbed The Syndicate.

Reviewers had given Saints Row a high mark, over 80 at least. The second game, Saints Row 2 also got nearly the same score with the first one while the third game has 4 times the amount of pre-orders compared to the second one. People generally praised the gameplay mechanism that is not the same as other sandbox games. In Saints Row, we make our own character with massively-crazy editing capabilities. You can make a bald girl with Gandalf’s beard or naked withering old man. Other than that, there is the respect points to level up your character, inserting a bit of RPG element. You can buy rackets and businesses your gang’s funding sources. Customizing how your gang looks, the vehicles, the headquarters, is also possible. There are also choices you can make in the game that have different outcomes. Saints Row is giving us a crazy sandbox game style without getting it too vulgar. But still, because it involves alcohols, shootouts, criminal activities, and partial nudity, it receives the rating mature from ESRB.


Looking at the sales and enthusiasm of fans, Danny Bilson, Core Games executive vice president of THQ has announced that Saints Row 4 is already in development. He said in an interview on November 8th 2011 that he already knows what Saints Row 4 is about and it is gonna be even “wilder” compared to its predecessors. THQ is really confident about this Saints Row 4 project. In fact, THQ’s confidence is not only in Saints Row 4, but also Homefront 2 and Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War that was announced just shortly after the release of the latest entry of the franchise.

This company is fully responsible for Mafia Wars, FarmVille, CityVille, Texas HoldEm Poker, and other web-based games that are available in social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook. Even though they make web-based games, the games are also available in iOS and Android as stand-alone apps. Five of Zynga’s exclusive Facebook games are also the five most-played game application in Facebook. They have about 200 million monthly active users. Now, Zynga has 15 official studios worldwide and about three thousand employees. Zynga gets money from in-game balance purchases via credit cards or PayPal payment processor. On the first of July this year, Zynga filed with SEC to raise $1 billion in Zynga IPO. And on the 16th of December, Zynga started trading Zynga IPO under the name ZNGA in the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotation (NASDAQ) stock market that is the world’s largest stock market exchange after the New York Stock Exchange. Zynga IPO is in the market with couples of other high-profile tech stocks like LinkedIn (LNKD), Pandora (P), Zillow (Z), Renren (RENN), Groupon (GRPN), and Angie’s List (ANGI). Zynga plans to sell 100 million Zynga IPO shares, each sold at $10. It is about 14 percent of Zynga’s common stock. Investors are really interested in Zynga IPO since the company is the largest game maker for Facebook. But the fact is not that simple. Even other big tech company like LinkedIn has suffered from severe initial public offering drop. And it is true because Zynga IPO were closed down 5 percent the first day of trade.

The fact did not shock Zynga. They are still capable. Zynga’s Chief Executife Officer and Founder, Mark Pincus, said that the amount of players will surely double in time. Thay also has signed and filed S1-Form with Facebook about its relationship with Facebook. It is stated that Zynga has to make exclusive game titles for Facebook. In return, Facebook has to help Zynga to reach a determined growth targets for monthly unique users of Zynga games. This agreement lasts for five years starting from last year. They also announced on the 11th of October 2011 that they are planning to create their own platform that allows users to play Zynga games called “Project Z”. But it will be still tied to Facebook.

Shank (Klei Entertainment), Bit.Trip Runner (Gaijin Games), Jamestown (Final Form Games), Super Meat Boy (Team Meat), NightSky HD (Nicalis) are included in this bundle. It is available for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux users. Yesterday (December 16), the soundtracks from all the games in the bundle were made available to all buyers. Also, all games in this Humble Bundle are redeemable at Steam. If you buy the games at retail price, it would cost you around $100. Instead, you can pay 4 times or 10 times cheaper than the retail price if you buy this bundle. But, if you choose to pay over the average price, you will get two free games as a bonus. The bonus games are Gratuitous Space Battles (Positech Games) and Cave Story+ (Nicalis).

On the first day of sale, Humble Indie Bundle 4 has a total of $1 million in revenue. By the time this article is written, this latest Humble Bundle has surpassed $1.5 million in revenue! There are more than 2800 purchases. The average price for Windows is currently $4.78, Macintosh is $7.33, Linux is $10.12, making the total average price $5.34. Skyrim: arrow in the knee is really one of the most hilarious things in gaming history, especially for Western Role-Playing Games. This game that is developed by Bethesda, although it was just released about a month ago, has really left unforgettable moments to gamers all over the world. If you are a gamer and you don’t even know this arrow in the knee thing, then maybe you got your memory erased by some alien-exterminating secret government dude or maybe you just woken up from years of hibernation or possibly you come from another planet. And worse, you have sat on the couch, hands on the controller, played the game and enjoyed torturing cute bunnies for hours but you haven’t got any idea what the arrow in the knee thing is. That’s lame, man.


So you really don’t know the catchphrase? I will tell you the story. You obviously have already known that when we come close to a Non-Player Character (NPC), the NPC will say something. When you get close to a guard in Winterhold, he will say something about “sweet-roll” theft, or some random blabbery about curved swords, but sometimes the NPC will tell you or more like warning you. Okay, it’s like “I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow in the knee...”. So, the Skyrim: arrow in the knee phrase is about a guard telling his boring life story. When I first heard the phrase from a guard, I just felt sorry for the guy and I thought to remember his words and be more careful especially around arrows. But then, I left Winterhold and visited Dawnstar. I strolled around the town and accidentally stumbled a guard and he said something, “I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow in the knee...” And you know what is happening right? The Skyrim: Arrow in the Knee catchphrase is being said by the guards in Skyrim. With all due respect, what I meant was EVERY guard that exists in Skyrim. The Solitude guards, Stormcloak soldiers, Imperial guards, Winterhold guards, Dawnstar guards, and Windhelm guards, they all keep saying that thing again and again with their own unique gestures. It means EVERY guard was an adventurer, kicking monsters asses hard, then they suddenly got a tragic accident which was taking an arrow in the knee and they stopped hunting scary creatures, instead working as a low-salary town guard. Don’t wanna end up like them? Stay away from arrows!


Now, the arrow in the knee thing is really popular and it goes boom like a bomb. A few days ago Skyrim patch 1.2 has been released, it did fix some issues, but it also cased new problems such as graphical framerate, lose magic resistance, bookshelves ceased to function, and Dragons flying backward.
