I've just written a guide about how to get Dragonvale Moon Dragon, and now I want to share to you Dragonvale Sun Dragon breeding guide. Please remember, breeding will get a random result. But, you can follow this guide to get a higher possibility to get a Sun Dragon because some people have tried this guide and succeed.
Dragonvale Sun Dragon Breeding Guide
As you can see on the pics above, if you want to get a Sun Dragon you have to combine:
- SONIC + Storm Dragon = Sun Dragon
- FIRE + Storm Dragon = Sun Dragon
- BLUE FIRE + Storm Dragon = Sun Dragon
- BLUE FIRE + CRYSTAL = Sun Dragon

If you have another combination and succeed breeding a Dragonvale Sun Dragon, feel free to share the combination in the comment box below. I'll update the combinations list and credit to your name if it's worked!
You can try one of 4 combinations above to get a Sun Dragon. Maybe you confuse because I wrote BLUE FIRE + CRYSTAL = Sun Dragon meanwhile in the previous guide I wrote if the combination of BLUE FIRE + CRYSTAL = Moon Dragon. I tried rainbow and rainbow at 12:03 pm for a test and got moon. Then tried it at 12:07 and got sun( I'm level 18 and my rainbows were 10)

Just to let yu all know. The sun and moon dragon have to be bred at certain times of the day. My first try for moon was at 1:47 am with bluefire and crystal(that order). And my first time trying for sun was at 7 am with blue fire and crystal. It diesnt matter what level they are as lon as they are over level four( breeding age) and it doesnt matter what level you are. You could be level 5 and get these awesome rare dragons. I have sun moon and rainbow. And inwill be dedicated to getting two more of each. Friend me at rowdydragons. If you dont believe

For those of you who dot know. Moon, sun, and rainbow can only be bred by the same dragon. Ie. rainbow and rainbow. Not rainbow and moon does not work.
As for getting rainbow firefly and storm works best.
Moon blue fire and crystal at 2 am
Sun is fire and storm at 7 am.
I know this because i have these. And for anyone who says they can breed rainbow and moon or moon and sun or sun and rainbow. STOP LYING YOU STUPID PEOPLE. Rare dragons can only breed with the same breed and nothing else. Such as. Sun and sun. Moon and moon. Rainbow and rainbow. Nothing else can be bred with rainbow moon or sun but the respective race of that dragon. Get a life and stop giving false hope.

DeleteCan you breed sun with moon dragon? It is said you need speciel conditions, maybe the mean you have to breed them on the epic breeding island. ReplyDeleteAfter trying to get a sun dragon for weeks, I finally gave up and decided to go for a rainbow. First try withe a blue fire and quake dragon... For a rainbow.... And I get a sun dragon! What the crap!?!

ReplyDeleteTotally by chance I bred a cold dragon and a lightning dragon and after 48 hours of breeding, I got a sun dragon. I knew it must be something special to take that long, but it was still a surprise, I never expected that. Both dragons were at least level 7 or 8 and I did not breed them at any certain time of day, it was totally random and by chance. Perhaps this will work for someone else as well.

ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who thinks breeding a Sun or Moon dragon is just a matter of seizing the right moment? I've been able to breed a Sun Dragon twice in the same day (obviously I used all the gems I had to speed up), it was the first of the year, what a coincidence. I retried the day after with the same combination but it didn't work. I think the combination might not be that important, it is a matter of day and hour.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I produced 3 moons in a week between, 12am and 3am. Then had a Sun at 5pm. All with Flower, Fire and Poison bred to Storm on the right.

ReplyDeleteBeen trying since november with blue fire and crystal. Last week I tried Lvl 10 blue fire + lvl 10 storm an got it on my first try around 11:30 am. Just got an ice burg dragon a few minutes ago now all that is left is a moon dragon and a frostfire dragon. For frostfire breed lvl 10 cold + lvl 10 firefly. There's other ways but from what I have found this is the best result.

ReplyDeleteI just got a sun dragon, and it was by pure dumb luck. I was originally going for a quake dragon, so I bred my lvl 7 mountain dragon with my lvl 7 lightning dragon (on the epic breeding island mind you) and suddenly I saw it would take 48 hours to conceive. I sped it up with crystals and discovered the egg wih the sun logo in my hatchery. I think I was very lucky! Good luck!

Sun: Scorch + Cold
Moon: Bluefire + Crystal
Rainbow: Seaweed + Blazing or Seaweed + Lava/Firefly
=)

ReplyDeleteIts true that u cannot breed rare dragons but u can breed a sun and a moon on a solar or lunar eclipse giving u an eclipse dragon go online and check when the next eclipse is going to be and just give it a try it worked for me and GOOD LUCK!

I am Level 13 so I think it's a sun or rainbow (I hope it's a sun or rainbow, lol) and at my level moon, sun, and rainbow are the only ones with 2 day breeding time. It was early in the morning, so I don't think it was a moon...any idea of what it is? I'll comment on this post when I find out. I am so excited to find out!
